Turian Sketch (III) by Rostov-na-don Turian Sketch (III) by Rostov-na-don
Yet another sketch of a turian's head.
I have mixed feelings to this one - on one hand I've drawn better, but on the other this is the first I've done without any reference piece.
I still feel the ridges are a bit too short and I feel that there's a gap of sorts below the edge of his cheek ridge. I also feel that something's off around his left cheek.
I think the previous sketch was better as this one appears to have mandibles apparating from thin air!

Lessons learnt: I'm not good at drawing from this side; I draw turians' faces better from their left.

Feel free to use him, but if you do, either credit or notify me.
